Recently, Young Thug celebrated his birthday at Gallery 874 in Atlanta. The super private party (only 25 people received an invitation and no guests were permitted after midnight) included a tower of cupcakes, food, a graffiti car, girls on swings and unlimited amounts of Martell Cognac and Seagram’s Gin. Celebrity guests included T.I. and Tiny, Future, Quavo of Migos and of course the man of honor Young Thug. The party was more than just a celebration of growing another year old, Young Thug who donned a lace button up shirt, jeans and multiple diamond chains has been making serious noise in the fashion industry. The rapper is the new face is Puma’s latest campaign for the new line of track suits that also includes Kylie Jenner, Rae Sremmurd and YesJulz. Jeffrey was also gifted a new pair of ombre gold hightop Pumas for his birthday, a present he opened in front of guests at his party.
In addition to landing the Puma Campaign young Thug joins Naomi Campbell, Rihanna’s stylist Mel Ottenberg, makeup artist Pat McGrath and Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo as a judge and mentor on the fashion reality show V-Files. Young Thug’s popularity in the fashion industry is due in large part to his gender neutral attitude toward clothing, preferring women’s clothing over men’s clothing because of his ultra slim build. His avant garde approach to dress landed him a spot in this summer’s Calvin Klein campaign.
